The rules, in plain words.

G2 is Ryan Gogerty and Nick Giacchi, a two-person software studio in New Jersey. “We” and “us” on this page mean G2.

Trying the Build Room costs nothing and needs no card. We set limits on how many builds and changes each person gets. The Build Room shows how many changes you have left, and says so when you reach either limit. Under every limit sits the floor on our security page: your first build is free, and a signed-in account gets at least 3 free changes a day. We may change the limits above that floor, change how the Build Room works, or pause the whole Build Room.

• Phishing, or any page that asks people for passwords, card numbers or other details under false pretenses.
• Pretending to be a real person, business or brand you do not represent.
• Anything illegal, hateful or harassing, sexual content involving minors, or code meant to harm people or their devices.
• Other people's personal information, or your customers' real records. The Build Room is made for sample data.
• Getting around the limits, overloading the service, or using it to reach our AI provider for anything other than building your app.

We may remove a shared page, refuse a request, or block access when we believe these rules have been broken.

Anyone with a shared link can open the page. A link stops working after 30 days, and you can delete yours sooner from the Build Room. If you see a shared page that breaks these rules, report it to us. We aim to take down pages that break them within 24 hours.

G2 claims no rights in what you build, and you can download your app’s code whenever you like. Whether anyone can own copyright in code an AI wrote is unsettled law, so that is the promise we make: we claim none of it.

You keep whatever rights you have in what you type. You let us use it only to run the Build Room: to send it to our AI provider to write your app, to show it back to you, and to reply to you if you gave us your email.

The Build Room writes a working preview with sample data. It has not been reviewed, tested or secured for real customers, real payments or real data. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Putting it in front of real customers is your decision and your responsibility. Helping with that is what the Launch Review is for.

• $249, paid once through Stripe. It is not a subscription, and nothing renews.
• A 45-minute call and a written go-live plan within 3 business days: what is still pretend, what making it real takes, and the do-it-yourself route first. After you pay, we arrange a time with you.
• The full $249 is credited toward a G2 build if you go ahead with us within 90 days.
• If the review is not useful to you, tell us within 14 days of it and we will refund the $249.

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and using the site after that means you accept the new version. A Launch Review you have already paid for keeps the terms it was bought under.
